After more than a decade of dancing his way around the
globe to the rhythm of house music, it was inevitable that Terry Vietheer’s
future passion was bound to play out on the other side of the decks.
Fast-forward six years into his career to find Terry playing his sound around
the world.
Terry Vietheer played his first gig in 2005 to a few
hundred people at a small bar in Sydney. As his reputation began to build for
his energetic sets, Terry was soon to be playing Sydney’s leading bars, clubs
and parties.
During the summer of 2006, Terry Vietheer joined John
Course, Tommy Trash and Alan Thompson as part of the Ministry of Sound
‘Sessions’ and ‘Housexy’ tour. These parties were followed by Terry playing the
Hed Kandi annual tour which had Australia’s #1 music website, inthemix.com.au,
affirm Terry has a great future ahead of him.
In 2007, Australia’s biggest nightclub, Home,
recruited Terry Vietheer as their resident for their 2000+ legendary circuit
party. His “hands in the air” closing sets on the terrace became a highlight
while supporting some of the worlds leading artists such as Peter Rauhofer and
Offer Nissim.
A new chapter started for Terry in 2008 as he
relocated to London. Terry’s first UK residency kicked off with Pacha’s
'Funky4love’, a high-octane music event lead by Hagenaar & Albrecht.
Terry's second UK residency lured him to the world famous club, Heaven, where
he was a weekly resident for two years. Other UK venues played at include
Supperclub, Dalston Superstore, Shoreditch House and East Bloc.
2009 was the beginning off in the studio collaborating
with Per QX on 'Old School, Nu School'. Ready in time for the Winter Music
Conference in Miami, the track found its way into the trust hands of Tom
Stephan and Roger Sanchez that lead to the exclusive signing on Stealth Records
and featured on 'Roger Sanchez presents Release Yourself Vol 8'.
And in 2010, Terry Vietheer and producer Chris Cooper
sign their track ‘East Village’ to Miles Dyson’s Plasmapool Records. They are
both currently in the studio working on new projects both under their own names
along with an alias project. 2010 also kicked off new residencies in the UK
with Lovechild and Hola.
Along the way, Terry supported the likes of
Frankmuzik, The Juan Maclean, Johnny Dynell and Patric La Funk at various gigs
around Europe and USA thanks to his exclusive signing to JumpDJ The Agency.
Home to Sammy Jo, Tom Stephan, Larry Tee, Per QX, Disco Damage and more, JumpDJ
